I converted my Vortex pro 7700 and a Fortec Lifetime ultra to Pnsat 2700 using the new bin jvvh2_205_1M. I jtag the box using SKYMAX_up1.3 and they are working like a charm, autoroll as well.

It has worked well for many...www.totalfta.com has the full instructions and conversion files...U must use "modded" converted 2500-2700 files though after this conversion..

What and were are these "modded" files named or located ? And were do they originate from?

Like the man said "U must use "modded" converted 2500-2700 files though after this conversion.."

That makes you dependent on jvvh for all your future files.Which will only be available some time after the original 2700 file comes out.Better to just put the keys in manual unless you got nothing better to do.Not to mention your taking a chance on destroying your receiver doing the conversion and the fact that the jvvh bins are more buggy than BLs.

If you know what you are doing you can always jtag back to its original state, i.e. Pansat 2500/clones

Easier to put the keys in than jtag.
It does make the 2500 work like a 2700.Corrects the time and adds a few menu options.
Not a conversion for the faint of heart or those who refuse to read.

Usually the conversion works better on clone Pansat 2500A as opposed to the real ones, because most of the clones have more memory than the real one.
As "flatulant kitty" has put it: "Not a conversion for the faint of heart"
