Ok I need help for dummy, I have posted few threds with no help. I have panset 2500A but it does not work, i need someone who could walk me thru it from scretch if possible. Where to get the flashing software, where to get the most recent bin and how to configure my box , or does the flashing do that for me? I know it is too much to ask or should I just hire someone to do it?
Well Costa i am going to try to help you i am not very good at this but i do have a 2500a and i have done it a couple of times first you have to have the cable . Mine has an adapter on it for the 2500a . Then i go to tester dot com because you don't have to register . There is a loader on about page 23-24 somewhere there that is for 1500-2300-2500 it works good for me . When it ask you to type in your rec. you put Pansat2500a then you look for the lastest bin i am not sure which one that is . You have to have winzip to open the files . You can go to winzip.com and download the trial version and use that hope this helps because i am pretty new at this and i know how frustrating it is but keep reading and try it .
Costa: 1. Use BIN 292T - preferred as one does not know if it is a clone or real. 2. Use a straight RS232 cable 9 pin F/F DB9 cable 3. Use BL Updater 1.4 for uploading. 4. Use instructions from the site where you download the software.
BIN is usally in the Pantec or Fortec thread. The Uploader and instructions are in the above threads and also in Pansat thread. Follow the instructions properly. Always use unzipped files.
