Hello, i just got a Dishnetwork 500 dish up here in canada and i was wondering where to point it. I live about almost dead center of BC so if anyone else with a dishnetwork on the pacific coastline or in BC could tell me if they point it to the North, East, South, or West just so i can get idea where to point. I was also told that the dishnetwork satellite was close to the Bell one but im not realy sure.

Thx for ur time and hope to hear from ya.

Dishnet is 110 (echo 8.10) and 119W (echo 7)....bev is 82W (nim 2) and 91 (nim 1&3)...those 4 satellites are the most popular..

these links tell U exactly where to aim the dish from anywhere in the world to get any satellite ..

1- Go to

2- Select 110 or 119 as your angles
3- Select City, Providence near you
4- It will give you AZMITH
5- Find true North and go Clockwise

This is exactly why I created King's Clock

- If you got BEV and want DN or vice versa
(point to 9 o'clock for BEV) DN will be 10 O'clock
- I like to use BEV as a 9 O'clock reference even that I never had 91 or 82
- International East will be 8 O'clock
- International West will be 11 O'clock
- Who needs a compass anymore just locate one Sat and follow King's Clock
- King's Clock is not copy righted I should of but what the hick I figure I'll give you a freebie

- This is the kind of connectors I recommend to use
It will have blue, black, or green. Use either one but I use the blue

- Also make sure stripper is for Rg-6
- Crimper must say compression crimper
