The output of each dish goes to a separate port of a DisEqC swithc usually a 4 to1 switch. The output of the switch goes to your receiver. You then program your software and use the same software settings as hardware. |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 6566 Registered: Jan-06 | MKM...many possibilites..do U have correct keys in receiver...is this a new hardware and wiring configuration and setup...any new hardware...did your setup ever work....did u check cables and switch connections..did U try other ports on the switch...what type LNbs ....what type switch..etc...more info needed.. aa... if NO PPV's, I suggest either your dish need to be realigned to get the 110 satellite (or better 110 signals) or U did NOT configure the 110 sat into your antenna/dish receiver setting |

BTW, generally receiver antenna/dish settings are: 119-port#1, 110-port#2, 61.5-port #3...etc LNB-standard (unless using Dish pro (DP) LNB's power ON frequency- 11250 22 -off scan all etc.. |

I have noticed one thing... almost everyday at approximately at 20.00/21.00 hr... it start to work on Echostar 121 WEST... Level & quality very good.. Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 6573 Registered: Jan-06 | MKM...U don't say what type LNB's...how many...and what type receiver or the antenna settings, BUT I will guess and say most 95% probable is... Your problems is dish alignment most likely, or bad cables or switch...or U did NOT recheck the antenna /dish settings in receiver when U changed the bin last!....all simple basic things that, had U read, U would have fixed in 30 minutes..or less.. BTW...reboot (rear switch OFF for 3-4 minutes, then back on) receiver ALWAYS FIRST whenever U have a problem , and also do it last whenever U do anything to hardware or software..it commonly resolves various issues within seconds.. also , always power receiver off when changing/connecting cable or switch... Merry Christmas.. |

Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 1073 Registered: Jun-06 | MKM : Some DN switches - notably DP34 require power on Port 1 on "A" as you call it. This is usually provided by DN rpovided receiver. The FTA receivers do not give enough power, and of these the Viewsat is notably weak. Always use the FTA receiver on Port 2 or "B" as you call it. The following is a quote from my posting a few months ago. " http://www.microyal.com/dp-34a-instal-istrn.jpg The DP34 gets its power from the receiver, which should be on Port 1 and ON for the switch to work. You might want to consider putting a separate power supply to DP34 at Port 1. You might also consider using a DP3437 dishpro adaptor, connect to one outlet of your DP34 and power it separately. Then connect your old receiver to it. You can also put a DP33 or similar amplifier from the DP34 outlet before connecting one or two receivers." |

Then make sure you set the time and time zone. set autoroll on and wait for autoroll to work. If it does not, set autoroll off, do a "set default key" and manually input Nagravision 2 keys for DN (0101) or BEV (0901) as appropriate. Make sure you put in Key 00 and key 01. Then SAVE, EXIT, EXIT, EXIT, turn off receiver and turn it on after 30 seconds. |
