Silver Member Username: Albino_midgetPost Number: 281 Registered: Jul-06 | that link is for the 2700 not the 3500 you should have loaded 365bin and used loader v35.01 When you turn it off and on again via the back switch, do you get the knightrider lights? Then you should be able to reflash the real bin. If not, you may have to J-tag. If you get knightrider lights: Have the loader and bin ready to flash, cable connected. put cursor on download, and turn off the power at the back. Turn on the power and press download the second knightrider light scrolls on the display. Allow box to reboot itself upon completion |

Yash...could be many things, start with the basics...RESET receiver using switch OFF (2-3 minutes)/ON in back...then recheck your anteanna LNB/port settings in installation menu..and U must wait (up to 1 hour possibly) for new keys to AUTOROLL into receiver! |

I tried putting in the new keys and all from the net and it didnt work. While I was trying to enter another set of keys, the system froze and something like "illegal product" appeared and it shut down. It doesn't power up again!! what happened to it? Does anyone know? |

The way to get around it as follows: 1. Turn Key off 2. Turn autoroll off for everything 3. Do set default keys. 4. Go into Nagravision 2 and put in BOTH key 00 and Key 01 and SAVE. If you have DN and BEV do it for both. 5. Exit, set Keys on but leave autoroll off. 6. Go back into Nagravision 2, make sure the keys have not changed. Currently DN is morphing 5th number in Key 00. SAVE again. Exit, exit, exit. 7. Switch off at the back and switch on again. After the sytem has settled down to normal viewing for several hours, you may attempt to set the autoroll on; it is up to you. |

Silver Member Username: Mc_sunnyPost Number: 551 Registered: Feb-06 | How to change the NAGRA2 Key codes (for Fortec Lifetime Ultra only) 1- Press Menu button on your remote control 2- Press right arrow key 2 times Channel Edit 3- Press down arrow key button 2 times, press OK (Code) enter 1010 4- Press the down arrow key to Set Default Key, click OK 5- Press the up arrow key to Nagravision click OK 6- On your top left you should see Nagravision-1...if not, then you've got the wrong BIN version. 7- Press right arrow key until you see Dish Network on top 8- Press the down arrow key once to Key Number 9- Press right arrow key 2 times the from Key Number 00 - 01 - 00 ( Now take notice that on your top left you should see Nagravision-2 now ) 10- Then press DOWN button key to change the keys manually on Key Number 00 11- Enter new Keycode, do the same procedure to enter the the keys on Key Number 01 Note: Satellite Providers changes the stream key codes unpredictably, (Note: remote control key letters equivalent) A = Sat, B = i, C = Tv/Radio, D = Pause, E = Audio (speaker), F = EPG 12- Check and make sure that you got all the keys....Press OK to store (save) 13- Press EXIT key 3 times to exit to the channels. Note: If you accidentally lock the KEYCODE (OFF) use this default password 1668 |
