How do i tell if my card obsolete or if it can be reprogrammed

My system (DTV, hughes receiver, and HU card) still pulls up the guide but NO channels work. Only worked for 1 week. How do i tell if my area has stopped using the HU card or i just need to reprogram it.

all hu's are gone no matter where you live, u can get audio & preview only & thats if you bin is still valid..the hu stream has been shutdown..so no you can't program it..
