New member Username: Media_manDenver, CO USA Post Number: 1 Registered: May-06 | I have Comcast cable with a DCT6200/2005 using the component inputs on my TV. Two days ago my SONY KV32HS510 began switching at random between 4x3 and 16x9. I unplugged the cable drop from the DCT and put it directly into the RF input on my TV. It works fine that way but I don't get the Digital Cable channels including the HD channels. Anyone else here heard of this happening? I am at my wits end with Comcast so I thought I would try this forum first. |

Bronze Member Username: EhdmiPost Number: 28 Registered: Mar-06 | I think the controller IC is not functioning properly. This could be a software corruption or a hardware defect. Do a hard reset and see if that will remove the program advancement. HARD RESET: Merely unplug the power cord for 4 hours. It will restore everything to factory preset conditions. Then do to the OSD and reset all the feature functions to your preferences. If that does not solve the problem, yes, you should take it to a Sony authorized shop and let them repair it.
