I lost my knight rider light. I only have my power on light. Nobody out there seems to know if this receiver exists so of course I can not find a fix for this problem. Can anyone help me, I think i have to re-Jtag the receiver. I can get the Jtag cable if someone can tell me how to do it. PLEASE HELP
try the Jtagless fix for pansats..its at all sites..
Instruction fixing your Pansat2300A and 2500A.
1) Open Blacklist Stb Updater 1.3a or 1.4 2) Browse orginal bin 222. can be found from here //www.pansatusa.com // 3) Connect from PC to REC with DB9 straight cable. 4) Keep your receiver off. DON NOT TURN THE RECEIVER ON FROM THE BACK SWICH. 5) Press Send button on BLACKLIST STB UPDATER 1.3a 5) Then turn your receiver on from the back swich with in 5 secound. 6) Wait untill download complited. DON NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNTILL YOU SEE MESSAGE (Complited) 7) DO NOT LET THE RECEIVER TO RESTART BY IT SELF. 8) After you see message complited, Swich off back button on the back of the receiver right away. 9) Wait for 10 Secound and turn your receiver on again. 10) Enjoy Your Tv Back.
U have a pansat/fortec clone...try it...can't hurt...especially if U were going to Jtag it anyway..hey I was trying to possibly save U from a Jtag, thats all..
Was using my Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra today, I have 2 satelitte's. And 2 receivers...Well I was trying to set up Echo 6,8 Have a 90% quality, however nothing showed up...All of a sudden the box shut down? Anyone guide on me how to re-load the software or get the software, I was using Black List 1.3 but it won't load on the receiver...Any help would be greatly appreciated, we bought this box of some guy on E-bay that doesn't give a crap, P.S READ ALL THE FORTEC STAR ADVICE, DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING ABOUT THE SCREEN GOING BLACK AFTER IT WAS LOADED BUT NOT RECEIVING ANY CHANEL (QUALITY 90%)

Where did U read that, about FTS site?...who cares what FTS means...I think U mean FTA (free to air)...all sites including here address black "screens", NOT black boxes...thats for commercial aircraft..use the SEARCH feature at any site..and there are a zillion reasns for black screen, starting with the TV is unplugged..there is not 1 answer..
isn't FTS..a floral service or a product women use..
