Unregistered guest | I have one dish and two LNB one for 110 and another for 119. when I change channels and go from 119 to 110 (or the other way around)it dosent bring the channel and signal is 0 . once I turn off and on the receiver it brings 110 but again if I go to 119 nothing until I turn off an on the reciever. I have a Multi star pantec mx and switch is 900 - 2300 MHz *I changed the switch with another one but still the same problem. what is wrong and How can I fix it? Thanks |

Silver Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 483 Registered: Oct-05 | either BAD switch or maybe U have twin DP LNB's (LNB says DP right on it) that already have built in switches and U don't need the exterior disque switch..or U have legacy twin LNB that have built in sw21 switch meant for Dishnet (NOT FTA) receivers which is conflicting with the disque switch and U will have to change LNB's.. |

Adam P. Unregistered guest | Hi thill1951 I don't have twin LNB.I have 2 dual lnb.you can see the image in this link: and I have one 33" dish and I tied two lnb's with a cable tie. for both I have more than 75% of signal(quality) this may help you to get closer to my problem. Thanks |

Unregistered guest | I took the receiver close to dish and tried it with a short cable(around 15 feet) ,everything was fine. but when I take it back to my bed room (now using around 65 feet) the switch dose not work and for changing 110 to 119(or 119 to 110) I have to turn off and on the reciver I am using the same cable used for "Cable Tv" How can I fix it? Silver Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 498 Registered: Oct-05 | That cable length shouldn't make any difference....some have said,the switch closer to the dish helps...but I think U either have bad cable (use RG6)or bad connections...also are those circular LNB's?...and is your remote settings configured according to your switch.. |

Adam P. Unregistered guest | yes ,they are circular LNB and I set 110 to #3 and 119 to #4 of my switch. You said switch closer to dish?right now switch and LNB's are connected with 2 feet cables and then I have 65 feet cable to my reciver(from switch). my signal(connection ) level is 82% and quality is 80% for 119 and 79% and 85% for 110 Any other idea thill? |

Each LNB works fine without the other one connected to the switch, but when both connected, one of them takesover. All I had to do is to echange one of the LNB's, to have two identicals. |
