I have a Panasonic DMREH60D DVD recorder connected to a Panasonic TX-28PM-1 TV. The TV is connected to a crappy Technika digi2000 T UK set top box. With the set top box connected I can view one Freeview program while recording another.
Problem is that the set top box TV tuner is not as good as the DVD Recorder tuner and the TV downloads its settings to the DVD Recorder automatically.
Any ideas on how to connect these three machines up so that the set top box is always the secondary tuner?
