B0Y GE0RGE Unregistered guest | nagravision 2 is the new encryption used by Dishnet. they are changing their channels (a few at a time) to this type of encryption so that we are not able to watch their channels cause there is no hack for this. alot of knowledgeable people think that it wont be hack for a long period of time. |

When you intercept telecommunicaions with out paying for them within the country that your are supposed to be paying for the service, it is a crime. Likewise in Canada with BEV. Under the Criminal Code of Canada it's called Theft of Telecommunications. This does not include Dish. |

That stemmed from an investigation where the accused was driving around a neighborhood in his car with a laptop and downloading child prn using people's wireless internet connections. In order to be charged for intercepting BEV for example they need to prove that you are receiving BEV channels without paying for them. The only way they can to that is by sitting in your living room and watching TV. They only way they can do that is with a warrant. The only way a warrant of that nature can be obtained is the authorities need to articulate reasonable grounds that an offence is, or has, or is about to take place. Intercepting BEV is technically an offence and a great risk. Dish is a little different because it's an American signal. Authorities are only targeting those who manufacture and distribute equipment, such as FTA receivers, used to intercept these signals, not those intercepting them. |

Loading your Coolsat4000+ and Pro Downloading Firmware CoolSatPro uses a Straight thru cable Like (pansat) the CoolSat4000 does NOT ! it uses a twisted Null Modem cable RS 232 ! Make sure STB is connected to the computer using Right Cable for your receiver !! 1. Turn STB power ON 2. Open STBTOOL.exe application icon 3. STBTOOL v1.5 screen appear. Firmware page and Download buttom will be selected which is preset 4. Browse and locate COOLSAT4000_1.29_ and Open it 5. Click Auto Detect buttom to verify your computer COM port then click Exit 6. Click Connect then Start. It will take about 1 minute DO not interupt until download is completed 7. Once you see Version 1.29 detected click X on the top right Downing Channels Make sure STB is connected to the computer using Right Cable for your receiver !! 1. Turn STB power ON 2. Open STBTOOL.exe application icon 3. STBTOOL v1.5 screen appear. Firmware page and Download buttom will be selected which is preset 4. Select Channels page and select Download buttom 5. Browse and locate ADD@82,97_11022004.NDF (Or any other NDF Channel list that is Matched to your lnb,s) and Open it 5. Click Auto Detect buttom to verify your computer COM port then click Exit 7. Click Connect then Start. It will take about 20 seconds DO not interupt until download is completed 8. Once you see Version 1.29 detected click X on the top right Hook up STB to TV and wait for 2 minutes channels will show up. Make sure you have the right Diseqc Setting ( Hardware and Software match ) STB are preset to 0000 password |
