Sony(LCD), RCA(DLP), Samsung(DLP), Panasonic(LCD), Hitachi(LCD), Gateway(LCD), or Toshiba(LcOS)
I felt after 2 months of pure research on the Sony and Samsung, the Sony was the absoulute best in this catagory. After being advised of the problems of Sony's LCD's, I saw a Hitachi. And all I can say is, it must have been meant to be. I think the Hitachi blows the Sony away. Needless to say, I bought it and am now watching happily for 2 days now my new 50" Hitachi! But there seems to NOT be very much attention being thrown it's way. In my research, I never even heard of Hitachi making an LCD. I currently own a Hitachi TV and like it very much. But not enough info out about this great TV yet. Even the current DIGITAL TV Magazine by Curtco's doesn't even mention it in it's list.
It's features to me are better then the Sony but the picture itself is so much better. The outer look, the picture, and it's features are what make this DLCDRPTV the best in this new catagory of large screen TV's!
