I have a chance to buy a Samsung HLP5674W through TI at $3250 this inclueds shipping. I have not seen any in the stores yet. I wanted to know if anybody has seen one. I am assuming the picture will be as good as the captain kirk model.

I have had the hlp4674w for 1.5 months now and am very pleased with the picture after returning a bad cable box for the new HD DVR. PQ with DVD, HD are impressive and the digital channels are mostly very good. SD channels are acceptable

I have had the Samsung HLP5674W for about 1 month. I have a second generation DLP same manufacture. The new or 4th generation is not exponentially greater than the 2nd. I doubt the price difference between the 74 series and the immediate predessor the 63 series is reflected in any drastic improvements in picture quality.
