Subwoofer Question

I just bought a new JVC reciever to replace the one that cam with my home theater in a box one(This is also JVC). But i see that my subwoofer is not powered (Uses speaker) and my new reciver doesnt take that. It only takes a little round connection. Is there a adapter i can buy or do i need to buy a new one. I was thinking of buying new spealers anyway but id rather not right now. But if i do really want those bose cube speakers with a bose woofer, I think am just going to piece it together, but what bose subwofer should i get? Thank you

I am not a big fan of the Bose cube system. Yes, they sound nice but can never replace proper speakers. If you have the space in your house/setup, focus on getting nice front/center speakers and a decent sub. Use the cubes are rear only if you must.

If you want to keep your sub, connect it to the B connection of the front speakers. The problem is that it will not filter out the high frequencies :(
Replace it with something decent.
