can i connect a car sub woffer to a home amp as there is pos and neg on sub box but just a one plug connector on amp????

Yes, you can. The good news is: Car subs require very small boxes. The bas news: They are not designed to drive large room and car subs are tuned for an extended response at the expense sensitivity. The net result - car subs sometimes require 10 times the power for the same volume. Other than that, let it rip.

Is that why Car subs are they are cheaper? ( besides the fact that they dont have built in amps)
