Should I be setting my subwoofer levels internally within the receiver... or by turning up the level knob on the back of the sub? Should it be a combination of the both?
The system is a Onkyo HT-S760. Currectly I have the level knob on the sub at half and the sub level in the reciever at 0db. The bass sounds pretty anemic, but I don't want to incorrectly set the levels. Help.

Ok... after a quick search I found this. Axiom recommends leaving the reciever level at 0db and adjusting sub level only through the volume knob on the sub to avoid overpowering the subs line input and keeping to noise factor down.
