I just bought the 760 from CC...and I've noticed that -as with the 650- the reciever gets fairly warm...I have been told that this is due to the very small speaker wires that onkyo provides you with. I would be appreciative of any advide i can get regarding the gauge of wire i should use. Is 16 big enough or do i need 14 or 12?

the speaker wires the system came with stink... at cc there are speaker wires called "monster" i would suggest go get them and you will tell a huge difference...

I hear 14 is a good size. Did CC happen to remove the small dotted area (square) from the box on the French side? I am missing that portion and am wondering what it is. Is it a UPC? I hope this does not affect my warranty status.

I just picked up the 760 from CC today, and that area was cut out on my box also. Anyone know the explanation for this?

I got mine shipped from SoundCity.com and that area was missing also. I believe they keep a copy of the UPCs they sell.
