HDTV Compatible HTIBs (component in) under $1K

I'm on the market for a good HTIB to connect to a Samsung HDTV monitor. My cable company is installing a cable box with component video outputs. So, by that rationale, I need a system with component video in so I can control the whole thing at the receiver.

I've been eyeing the yamaha yht-700 mainly for what seems to be its price:performance ratio, but I'm looking for a review. I've looked at a couple Pioneer systems, and don't know a lot about Onkyo. Sony's not looking like the way to go. I want to stay in the sub-$1000 range if possible and a p-scan DVD is a must (changer is a plus). Any ideas?

If your Samsung has two or more component inputs, use the TV as the video switch and use any htib for the ausio.

Hope that helps.
