Hi:
Please help. Have had the tv/digital cable/surround sound stereo hooked up and all has been well. Until I tried to bring the DVD player into the mix. Can't get the dvd's to play on the tv. Leaving the surround sound stereo out for now, I've got the red-green-blue from the dvd into the red-green-blue of the tv (both Toshiba and about 5 years old) and otherwise all was left as is. Have tried the aux channels we used to use (video 1/2/3/color stream) and it worked at the old place but can't figure it out now. Any advice on how to get this working?

You have to connect the Audio Output of the DVD player into the audio input of the TV.

Steve, you should be seeing a picture on your TV's "color stream" input. Make sure your red-green-blue connections and wires are good.

I would also make sure the DVD player is not set to progressive scan, as your TV probably can't handle it.
