Does this sound reasonable? New house, prewired for 5.1. The bid is for 5 speakers, installed recessed into ceiling Elan me650c, plus a velodyne vpr1000 powered sub, and all parts/accessories/cutting that goes with it for $1300.
For the speakers and sub alone, that seems like a pretty good price. Can't say that I've had the chance to put my ears on that model of Elan speaker, but the Velo sub performs pretty well and to get it all installed? I say that is a fair deal, absolutely. Just make sure they do a good job with placement ;-)
