Has my Subwoofer Snuffed it?

Well, It's Xmas day and and I have a problem, not a good time to get technical support. Why now?

I was using my theatre setup last night

I have a Sony SAVE525 Home Theatre speaker setup.

The subwoofer is not working, as if the power is not turned on. It was fine the night before but has not responded since I got up this morning.

I can press the on button all I want but nothing happens, like I said, it like it's not even plugged in (yes, it is)

It's Xmas day, very bad timing, and support is impossible to find.

I don't know what has happened, the rest of the setup is fine, just no subwoofer.

It's only a couple of weeks old...?

Any Idea's?

check any other appliance in the outlet (like a lamp) to see if that works. It's possible (hopefully) that you blew a circuit breaker. Otherwise, my help is anything but.

Open it up (unplug it) and look for any fuses you might have blown. If no fuses are blown and no thermal reset relays are present, or present but ineffective,...then it'll probably find it's way to the service shop.--johnnyjb59@aol.com
