I have a Onkyo HTS-650. The system is great!! I have a question with others that have this system. Should I hook up the sub in the outlet that is on the back of the receiver? Or should I plug it in on a seperate wall outlet? I was curious if running it through the receiver would cause any adverse problems..

If your sub has auto on/off you may as well plug it into the wall.

yeah it does have an auto off, if it is not receiving anything it goes it to standby. I did not want to overload the receiver. Thanks
