I have narrowed my search for a Home Theater System to two systems. The Kenwood HTB-505 and the Yamaha YHT-300. Can anywood give me which is the better system and why? Thanks.
Of course personal taste will tell you more about what is going to make you happier but the basics of the two systems is with the kenwood you get fuller sound since it has the larger speakers and plenty of watts, while the yamaha is going to give you better seperation but the sound is more high pitched. Other than that personally I like the 505, though I work at Best Buy and listen to them both all the time.

I purchased the Kenwood 505 about 4 months ago and I feel its a quality HTIB system. The setup was'nt bad and the remote is easy to use. It certainly is powerful enough for my room and the sound is great on digital cable and outstanding on dvd's.
