Hey All,

So I just bought my 1st home and have a 30 x 15 foot room to use as a home theater. The problem I'm having is I want to wire the system before I put up the drywall. Now the speaker placement is my problem. How do I figure out where the speaker wall jacks will go?

I don't have the seating yet and I wanted the floor to be in 2 levels.

If anyone has any ideas, please post.

The setup is a 7.1

Thanks

I'll take a look at these URL's when i get home later. Thanks.

I just don't want to put in wall jack, just to find out the should have been 2 feet to the left or right or up or down.
I know even seting it up the room i had it in took a bit to find teh sweet spots for the speakers.

I want to make the room right. I have the gear just never had a good room to set it up in.

If the room construction take a year that I fine with me.

Thanks

Casey,

This URL (http://hometheatermag.com/bootcamp/137/) is way cool. Its answers a lot of questions I had about different things. The room is barebones at the moment, so I can do whatever I want with it, and take as much time as I want.

It won't be a Million Dollar Home Theater but it will be the best experience it can be.

I'm also looking for a good priced Canadian shopping website for Home Theater Chairs & decor.

Thanks once again, I will share this website with others

Tyson
