I am using the tiny subwoofer cable which came with the Onyko System 650 (yes I also got the LFE bug in mine). Is it worth it to spend $40-80 for a Monster Subwoofer Cable? Any Comment? Thanks
No way. Get a decent cable for $20 and be done with it. Is Monster Cable good cable? Yep. Is it better than cheap cable? Sure, at least in the lab. But with a system like this, there is no way you could ever possibly begin to hear any difference. (And you won't be "straining" your sub, either.) If you're independently wealthy, go for it. Then again, even if you are, you'll get far more satisfaction giving the extra $50 to charity.
