I have a Samsung DVD M108 hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V440 and I can't get DTS or DD signal. It's just silence when I switch over to DTS on the menu of the DVD. Please help.
make sure that the dvd is configured to output Dolby Digital AND DTS. Go to the set-up menu and go to the ausio set-up part. Sometimes these are not turned on by default, you have to conuslt your manual on how to set it up properly. also, you have to use either a digital optical or coaxial digital cable from your DVD player to your receiver.
