Hey,

I own a 51" Hitachi CRT projection TV and a Sony home theatre in-a-box setup. My question is how to get the television to work using the home theatre speakers. I have just standard cable coming from the wall. How would i get this regular cable to work using the home theatre ?

the tv is hitachi 51F510
and the home theatre is a basic 5 speaker sony one.

any help would be great
thanks

Guh? You have a cable converter or sattelite feed too? The USUAL process is such that you run your audio from one of these boxes to your receiver (in this case your HTiB receiver/player). If you don't have one of these converter types, you are either running an antenna for your HD or your TV has an internal cable converter, either way, without an "audio out" on your TV, you cannot connect it to your receiver.

JC,
Connect your TV's Monitor Audio Out jacks to the Sony's audio in jacks. Then select that input on the Sony.
