Anyone who has seen the difference between cab\sat transmissions in "480i" and that on a DVD can attest to the total lack of PQ on pay per view. I doubt we will ever see pay per view at the resolutions DVD's and HD video discs will provide. I think he is way off the mark. |

Silver Member Username: ChitownPost Number: 617 Registered: Apr-05 | True it did seem like he was comparing apples and oranges, however having cable lines that can deliver 100 MB/sec in digital connection, I don't see how they won't deliver hiDef resolution. It should just be a matter of time. I guess my issue is that having owned a lot of DVD's , 1) I won't go out and buy them again in Hi-Def and 2) I would still pay $3.99 to watch a movie in Hi-Def (through cable) rather than pay $13 to buy them, since I rarely see them twice anyway. Don't you agree? |
