I want to upgrade the speaker wire. Will 16 guage be good enough for all the speakers? I saw a 100 foot spool of RCA 16 guage speaker wire at Home Depot for about $14.00 will this be ok ? Any extra info would be appreciated.

Yes, 16 gauge should be fine. You might also want to upgrade the subwoofer cable. Best Buy sells Acoustic Research Brand for around $15 (half the price of the Monster brand) Radio Shack also has their gold series which is good quality as well.

I just bought the RCA 16 guage speaker wire from Home Depot and it worked wonderfully.
