Connecting two subs

I want to connect two subwoofers to my home theater system. My main subwoofer is part of an Atlantic Technology 170 series speaker system. The other subwoofer is a spare Koss subwoofer from an all-in-one home theater package. How can I connect them together? Both are powered; the AT sub has a pass through left/right and the Koss has only one input. I have tried using the AT pass through and connecting it to the Koss, but I get nothing from the Koss.

My JVC A/V receiver has a sub-room pre-out connection. Can I use this? Please help.

Yes, that is the purpose of a sub pre-out.

What is a "sub-room"?

The receiver has multi-room support. It allows you to connect additional speakers for use in another room or combined with the main room. You can also use the sub-room pre-out to connect to another amplifier. I will try using it for the sub and see what happens...thanks.
