I am enthusiastic movie watcher with interest in sound.
I am in a process of making a mini theatre with capacity of around 30 people.
As I am in my study and planning phase, I am looking for links/tutorials/case studies which will help me in deciding the acoustics and sound of my theatre.
My problem statements are: 1 Given room dimensions what should be wattage of the amplifier and the speakers to be chosen. 2.Given a room size what should be the acoustics of the room" i.e how should be the mid-high freq absorbers and low freq absorbers(bass trap) be laid out in the room. 3.What reverberation times should be aimed at. I assume 1.5 sec is considered good enough for mini theatres. If yes how should I go about achieving it.
