I am getting advice from a "sound guy" to go with the following setup for my home theatre.
Harman Kardon AVR630 receiver
JVC XVM5GSL 5-Disc DVD with Progressive Scan
Jamo E8SUB.2 Sub-Woofer
Jamo E8CENTER.2
Jamo 626K3 Round Ceiling Speakers (inwall fronts)
Jamo E825 Speakers (rears, left & right)
Before he recommended this setup I emailed him the set up I was thinking of going with. I listed it below.
Speakers
NHT iW3 inwall speakers
NHT SB2 rear surrounds
NHT SC1 center channel
Receiver
NAD T762
DVD
NAD T571
Line Conditioner
Panamax Max 4300
Subwoofer
Hsu Research VTF-2
I am looking for a neutral party to give me some sound advice. This "sound guy" said that he would calibrate his system and give me one remote for the entire system. Any help is appreciated.

I like your system a lot, except I would replace the NHTiW3's with NHT SB3's. (I think in-wall speakers compromise the sound too much and there isn't the option of adjusting speaker locations to improve the sound.) Although I'm not familiar with the Jamo speakers, it's hard to believe that the "sound guy's" system can be any better than what you came up with. You seem to be more knowledgeable than he is.
