With such a wide range of dvd players out there I don't know what I need for what I'll use. 80% movies, 20% cds. I have a sony 50we655 and a denon 3805. I also have the hd digital box from the cable company. I'm looking to save some money here to put towards speakers. Will a $200 budget get me a reasonable machine that will do everything I need.

I f you can spend a hundred or so more it will be a huge jump up, like a denon 2200 for around 300-350

Joseph, what does the denon 2200 have that others don't that make it worth the extra hundred bucks? I appreciate your input, thanks.

Burr brown DAC's wich enhance your listening experience and faroudja scaling for the best picture at that price, thats the same technology that is put in $1000 players.
I am thinking of getting one myself.

Thanks guys, I'm looking on the Denon website and only see the 1910 and the 2910 and there's like a $500 difference between the two. Is the 2200 comparable to one of these, if so which one?
