When we turn the receiver on (AMP/ON), and then the TV from the remote, there is no sound until we turn the receiver off and on again. Anyone know a solution for this?

Thanks in advance!

Check your speaker connections and make sure your wire runs are as short as possible. Using the supplied wire should be sufficient but it tends to be a little on the small size so replacing it with a larger gage wire doesn't hurt.

Try your scenario and then press the speaker selector A. If that brings on the speakers without powering down, it could be the internal circuitry is sensing something abnormal about the speakers upon powering up.

Check that the music source is what you expect when turning on the first time. Mine switches to DVD if I power the receiver on with the DVD. (I have the Onkyo DVD)

There was a post several months back of a person with a similar problem, I don't know if they ever posted a solution to their problem.

Good luck.
