i have been looking into buying the yamaha ns-p236 speaker package from best buy and i am just wondering if it is worth is. I don't have much money to spend to go high end. I have a small room and the speakers are rather small as i have seen. Will i make a good system?

The JBL SCS136SI would be a much better choice than the Yamaha's IMO if you can swing $300 (onsale @ BestBuy till 1/7/04) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1055388006212&skuId=5571829&type=prod uct .

The Yamaha ns-p236 package is a bargain for someone who doesn't want to spend alot for ht. For a bedroom, dorm, or smaller room, these things are perfect in size and for the money, great on sound. I have this set in the bedroom. Silly having to have a setup in the bedroom as well as the living room isn't it? But for only $99 (when on sale) at BB, it was a steal for all 7 speakers.
