unfortunatelly that too is old news... check this out:

I just got the call from Mr VS. The coder finished the bin this morn and it doesn't work. He is stating they will have to do a FULL EMU and that can take 3 weeks to develop a flash.. He is going to try 1 other thing, before he gives up and starts a new rewrite.

and this too

Still working, The coder is a very proud man, that would "never say die" and has NOT given up. He has all the pertinent info on this hash and MAP calls, but still can't make it work. I have no way of knowing whether he thinks he can fix it, but I know he will NOT give up..

and finally this...

This is probably not the news you were looking for right now but here is a true and honest update....
Coders looking to fix the present outtage are running into some minor problems getting everything resolved. Some very difficult items have came up but are being worked on.
A realistic time frame for a fix will be anywhere from 3-5 days.

As the mods and admins of Totalfta do not have anything to do with the coding of any software for any receiver, we have zero control over this, all we can do is sit back, relax and wait for something to come through. I will close this thread, but will update it with any updates that are past on, and of course once a fix does come out, we will have it first!

With all due respect to coders

A minor problem to them is a major problem to us!

C&P from another site.

Status of Coders:
6/29/06--> No fix at this time.
WARNING To CLONE Users!!!

Do NOT use Official Pansat files released by Blacklist on any Clones! They once again contain clone kill codes. Please wait for clone fixes to be released.

6/29/06--> [From TDG] The coder is a very proud man, that would "never say die" and has NOT given up. He has all the pertinent info on this hash and MAP calls, but still can't make it work. I have no way of knowing whether he thinks he can fix it, but I know he will NOT give up..

Coders looking to fix the present outtage are running into some minor problems getting everything resolved. Some very difficult items have came up but are being worked on.
A realistic time frame for a fix will be anywhere from 3-5 days.

6/28/06--> [From TDG] The coder finished the bin this morn and it doesn't work. He is stating they will have to do a FULL EMU and that can take 3 weeks to develop a flash.. He is going to try 1 other thing, before he gives up and starts a new rewrite.

6/28/06--> [From viewsat] we need little more time, we are working on it, taking longer then we thought, we had to rewrite whole new map function ,,,sorry for the delay...

6/26/06--> [From TDG] The rewrite is 95% done and the coder is exhausted. He has finally taken off for some badly needed sleep. As soon as he wakes up we should see the finished product the same day. I think it will be Wednesday (Korea time) and our time will (hopefully) be by noon Tuesday. The fact that no more channeles have dropped, is why he's taking a break (before he breaks) and catching up on some sleep. Relax, we have plenty of TV and all info is known and has been known. It's the rewrite that's taking so long.

6/24/06--> [From TDG] Just got off the phone w/Mr V. OMG! I have seen a 155 page pdf file on the cryptology used for this hash. This hash may well be the end of some stb makers. Viewsat has solved areas 2,5, & 7 (most everyone else is still on 2 or 5) and the last area 57 will fall tonight or tomorrow. The mathematical equation involved is MIND BOGGLING!! It involves rsa chart tables, prime numbers, algos, cryptology that wasn't even around till 2003, and was never used (but was planned by Nagrastar). Viewsats coder is on the last hurdle, but don't expect many STB makers to follow. This one (hash) made the last one look like childs play!

6/22/06 --> Coders for FTA stb's will have to make changes to their MAP code to reflect the new routines. Currently, all MAP calls are hardcoded and will have to be recoded to simulate the new MAP call functions. The coders need to be working on REAL MAPROM routines to attempt to avoid these types of hashes in the future. The algo is known, but a MAP table has to be written for the calls. Each time DN does something, they reveal more about the Eeprom. Much needs to be known before a "lasting" fix can be made. Eventually a real MAPROM table will be compiled and written for FTA.

6/21/06 --> Most coders are aware that channels are starting to drop. As of this date, it is the Internationals. Do NOT expect a fix until channels on the 110/119 sats are affected and do NOT expect a daily report as to their progress. When they are ready...they will be posted.

DISHNET Status:

Working: -> Rom102 with Penga's latest 109 blocker

6/28/06 --> Many more channels on 110/119 are down including the VOD's. Most channels worth watching are black at this time. There may still some locals markets available yet.

6/22/06 - 6/27/06 --> Most Internationals on 148/121/61.5 are now blacked out. Other missing channels on 110/119 include... 108, 151, 160, 170, 200, 209, 300, 301, 302, 304, 318, 492, 493, 494, 495, 496, 497, 498, PPV's [502 - 538], 600, and 835. More are sure to follow.

6/21/06 --> International channels have started to go blackscreen on with most testing methods. More channels will most certainly soon follow. This is the new hash that we have been expecting. Rom102 with Penga's latest 109 blocker are unaffected.

6/18/06 --> As of 2:00pm Reports currently indicate no cmd07 hash in stream and have haulted the rev109 updates. Rom 10/11/101, as well as older Atmega, Emu., and older FTA flashes have been reported working at that time. It is said that they are gearing up for another ECM. Exactly what it will be is not known as we never know until it happens.

6/15/06 --> Reports are out that rev 109 has been placed on subs.

6/04/06 - 6/12/06 --> New Cmd07 fixes have been posted for most units.

6/02/06 --> Dishnet has now followed through with the same type of Cmd07 hash that the Canadian sat provider has used. ALL PPV channels (502 - 539) have been blacked out. As well as most other channels other than maybe 30 or 40. I'm sure all will go anytime soon. This effects all cemu versions, rom10, rom101, atmega, fta and dvb users...
