currently i have 121 (33" dish) -
do i need to buy another lnb if i want to switch to 118. Do i need to repoint my 33" dish also to get 118?

I have a small dish for 119 and 110 which i dont want to touch..leave it alone..
all i want it is to use my 33" dish for 118 instead of 121..

the ciruclar dual lnb i read about gives me both 119 and 118 from one dish..but my case is different as i mentioned above

pls help

Hey,vhl17
A) Yes, you will need to buy this new 118 dual LNB.
B) These Birds are only 2.2 degress apart,
you should be able keep 121 also.
C) For now , don't move the Dish
try doing this, if you want to keep 121,
strap the new 118 to the 121 LNB or
for a better job buy a two way LNB bracket.
If both Birds don't come in move your Dish
very very slow toward the East or West.

I don't know what you mean by the word
malalignment that is some kind of medical term?

Is Anik F3 listed in your Receiver with
all the TPs? If they are ,nothing to lose try your luck.If they are not you will be wasting your time. Anik F3 TPs have lower Frequencies
like TP #1 is 11.715 and EchoStar 7 TP #1 is 12.224 you see what I mean?
Still if all the above is Greek to you TRY

Hello Kavin,
I know you are the right person to guide me.
I have DN dish ie 61.5, now I need to add another dish for BEV. I have a new standard 14 inch dish and a circular lnb (Eurostar- ESKD P10 Plus) Freq10.70-12.75 GHz L.O 9.75 / 10.6 GHz.
My question. Can I use this LNB to get BEV 91.
Also some advice what I should do to install this dish. what angle and what switch I should use. Appreciate your help.

Yes your Circular LNB will be OK.
From your location point the Dish to 215 degress
and Elevate it to 38 degress for Nimiq 1 @ 91.oW
For these two (2) Birds you need a 2 in 1 DiSEqC Switch.

BTW... Iam not sure about your 14" Dish
I would think you would need 18" to 20"
some one here from Canada can tell you.

Kavin, one more detail,
What is the location degree for 61.5 and what is the elevation degree, this will help me as I don't have a satelite finder. I however have the dish for 61.5 installed so I need to figure out if the elevation or location is somewhat same then I can try this out.
Thank you once again

EchoStar 3 @ 61.5W, from your location
point your Dish to 163 degress and Elevate it to 36 degress

121W via ES9 is already migrated to 118.7 Anik F3 on bish network end. if you have not changed your dish arbital to 118W yet, you would loose new international channels like GEMINI, TEJA and may be more. anyways, i have got my dish arbital changed from 121W to 118W. boom, everything back to normal with bish network receiver.

now, i am a new FTA user (hardly 10 days). not bad, successful in getting all channels from 119W via ES7 and 110W via ES8/10 using super dish. But 118W via Anik F3 does not receive the signal or can not get channels using CS6100. when i switch the receiver back to bish network, i get new international channels just fine. by the way my CS6100 is flashed with v121 bin.

so satellite/cool sat gurus... please advise what settings should i use to get the signal and international channels using CS6100 for 118W Anik F3??

thanks in advance.
