I have read most of the threads on this forum and I do not see one that fits my problem. I was watching TV last night and the screen went dark. The lamp is on but the screen is dark. I tried to turn TV on and off and the green lamp light blinks for a few seconds, the lamp turns on, but no picture, just a faint glow on the screen. It sounds like something is running in the back of the TV a bit louder than normal. I pulled the lamp out and cleaned the inside of the TV and put the lamp back in but it did not help. There are no 3 lights flashing to indicate lamp is defective. I have just the red stand by light on when the tv is off and when i turn it on, just the flashing lamp light for a few seconds and then no lights on at all on the front panel. Any one have ideas on how to fix this?
