Monster Cable has partnered with Viacom to create a new audio brand Monster DNA. The first products under the brand are the Monster DNA on-ear and in-ear headphones, aiming to serve today’s music listener and music artists with a focus on music sharing, music community, and social awareness.
The noise-isolating Monster DNA on-ear headphones reduce ambient sound, delivering clear audio for jamming to your favorite tunes. Dual-port inputs let you share audio with up to 5 other pairs of headphones (not included).
The Monster DNA in-ear headphones direct sounds into the ear for deep bass and extended frequency response. 5 pairs of multiple-size ear tips ensure a comfortable fit.
Both headphones include an Apple ControlTalk cable, which provide in-line controls simplify answering calls and pausing or playing music on the go. The flat ControlTalk cord resists tangling, so the headphones remain organized and easy to carry.
Designed with both the music and fashion consumer in mind, Monster took a very aggressive approach to evolve its audio signature, the technologies that make it possible, the “not-square-or-round” triangle speaker housing, and its fashion forward two-tone color design. Extensive design considerations included advanced ear cushion design and lightness for overall better ear comfort than similar on-ear headphones. “We tried to think of everything we could do to make Monster DNA better than anything out there for today’s extensive music listener. We even included a nifty ‘buddy’ jack to share what you’re listening to, something we thought people might want to do but haven’t thought about,” said Noel Lee, The Head Monster.
