FingerWorks Receives Prestigious CES 2005
Best of Innovations Award
Company Selected as Best in Computer Accessories Category

NEWARK, DE, November 10, 2004 — FingerWorks, the company revolutionizing the way people interact with computers and other electronic devices, today announced it has been selected among tens of thousands of new products participating at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show as the winner of the Best of Innovations Award in the computer accessory category. Winners of this prestigious award are selected by a preeminent panel of independent industry designers, engineers and journalists. CES in Las Vegas (January 6-9, 2005) is the premiere electronics show/conference in the world, drawing over 130,000 participants, with more than 2,500 exhibitors.
FingerWorks’ technology represents a new paradigm for input devices, replacing today’s mouse and keyboard methodologies with a more efficient, intuitive and healthier solution. Its patented MultiTouch and ZeroForce technologies empower input devices such as touchpads and keyboards to sense, track and interpret multiple finger and hand movements, enabling users to type, point and click all from one place. Instead of interacting solely through the point and click of conventional mouse-usage, operations like copy, cut, paste, save, open, close, scroll, zoom, pan and a host of other multi-key commands are all done with simple, easy-to-repeat, and easy-to-learn hand movements.
The award-winning FingerWorks WinPad, the next generation of the company’s iGesture product line, will be launched at CES 2005 with availability projected for first quarter 2005.
“We are excited to receive such a prestigious award and believe this validates the impact of our technology and the opportunity for its widespread adoption,” stated Jeff White CEO of FingerWorks, Inc.
The full line of FingerWorks products, including its iGesture touchpad series and TouchStream keyboards, is available through a variety of retailers including CompUSA.com, Hewlett Packard at HP.com, Gateway, J&R Music, as well as multiple resellers catering to specific consumer needs.

About FingerWorks
FingerWorks is revolutionizing the input device market, changing the way people navigate and communicate with electronic devices. The company was founded in 1999 by a professor and student as part of a Ph.D. thesis project in the University of Delaware’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Determined to replace the old keyboard and rigid mouse by exploiting the hand’s natural tool usage patterns, FingerWorks evolved their streamlined MultiTouch and ZeroForce technologies. After two years of product refinement and limited distribution, FingerWorks is now taking its newly enhanced product line national, including the iGesture series and TouchStream Keyboard. The company is privately-held and is based in Newark, Delaware. Visit http//www.fingerworks.com.
