Posted on Friday, February 04, 2005 - 22:46 GMT hi is it ok to place a subwoofer near a CRT RPTV (within 2-3 metres)?? due to space constraints that might be the only spot i have but was afraid that since the elecrtonics of the tv are at the base they might get affected by vibrations or something.. appreciate ur inputs |

The CRT's electron beam can be pulled by magnetism from a big speaker that is too close, which will cause a noticeable distortion. I have huge floor standing Cerwin Vegas with 15 inch subs supporting my DLP. I haven't noticed any screws falling out of the rear cover yet. |
