I connected a Sony HT-DDW750 with a VCR, Xbox and Hitachi television. Sound works fine with the VCR and Xbox, but I can't get the sound from the television to play through the theater speakers. It is hooked up via RCA - the televisions audio output going into the receiver. Tried with the internal TV speakers turned off and tried switching all the cables...to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The solution is to turn the volume up on the TV about 3/4 of the way then turn internal speakers off.
