I currently own a Dolby ProLogic Receiver (Yamaha RX-V590), and I'm considering upgrading to a Dolby Digital Receiver. I'm unhappy with the sound quality on my system ("The Matrix" Lobby Shooting Spree just doesn't wow me).
I understand the technically differences between the discrete speaker output on Digital vs the simulated on ProLogic. My question is for anyone that's experienced the upgrade... will I really be able to hear a significant difference?
