Home theater setup/choices

I've built in a 10-seat dedicated home theater in my basement but am thoroughly confused by equipment choices. The size is 27.6' long; 19.5' wide, and 10.5' high. I've set it up for rear projection with the screen to be mounted on an acoustically transparent wall 8' from a rear wall, and planned for a single-wrap mirror setup.

The dealers I've talked to seem to be knowledgable only on those items they wish I'd buy. I've done some independent research on the web and am considering a Marantz vp-12s4 projector with a short-throw lens, stewart screen and mirror, Harmon Kardon DPR 1005 receiver, and Paradigm Monitor Series v.4 speakers. Planning a 7.1 system. The receiver/speaker combo i got from an article in Home Theater written by Steve Guttenberg (Apr 05).

Does this setup make sense? And if so where could one purchase (no dealers for this stuff where i live up here in the frozen north).

Thanks!
