Yamaha introduced the RX-V471 5.1-channel A/V Receiver with HD Audio decoding, 1080p-compatible HDMI with 3D and Audio Return Channel (4 in/1 out), new on-screen GUI, front panel USB input, iPod/iPhone and Bluetooth compatibility, Cinema DSP 3D, YPAO and SCENE buttons.
The RX-V471 has a front USB port to connect an iPod or iPhone. The receiver bypasses the iPod's DAC and employs its own low-jitter circuitry for a pristine musical experience. Plus Yamaha's Compressed Music Enhancer makes low bit rate MP3 files sound better. You can also use the USB port to listen to music stored on flash drives, and a front minijack input lets you plug in any device with a headphone jack.
