First Interconnects Capable of 3.4Gb Transmission Speeds at Lengths of Up to 20 Meters
AUSTIN, TX — September 6, 2007 — VizionWare announced today the release of the all new Hi-Wirez 3400 Series 3.4Gb Active HDMI Cables, the only HDMI cables on the market meeting the new HDMI 1.3 Category 2 specification in lengths beyond 1 meter.
Hi-Wirez 3400 Series interconnects represents a substantial step forward in HDMI transmissions. As the passive interconnect industry slowly evolves toward cable systems that are capable of handling transmissions of increasing “lossless” frequencies, the demands placed on these systems are increasing to the point where, once again, they are becoming incapable of performing as well as or better than the best source and sink devices now or soon to be available on the market.
