Vidikron Names Rep and Dealer of the Year at CES 2005

UNION CITY, CALIFORNIA — January 27, 2005 — At its annual corporate awards dinner in Las Vegas, video display manufacturer Vidikron proudly named its Sales Representative of the Year and Dealer of the Year for 2004. C&E Marketing, based in Miami, Florida won the honor of Sales Representative of the Year, while Florida-based Sound Image of Orlando, Inc., was announced as Dealer of the Year. The awards ceremony is held every year in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the most widely attended events in consumer technology.

“We’re very proud to have onboard such an elite rep and dealer force to support the Vidikron brand,” stated Jim McGall, Vidikron’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Sound Image has quickly made great strides and we are thrilled with the results they’re generating for us. And my highest compliments to C&E Marketing for successfully cultivating dealers all over the Florida territory. Each team deserves credit for their outstanding dedication during 2004.”

Over the last year, Vidikron has positioned itself as a world-class manufacturer of video display technologies, and is looking for increased success in 2005 with a sweeping array of cutting edge video display products and expanding distribution infrastructure. Vidikron’s wide variety of projectors utilize technologies such as Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier (D-ILA) and Digital Light Processing (DLP) to create smooth and highly detailed widescreen images. The company also offers a complete line of high performance plasma monitors at sizes of 42, 50, and 61 inches that round out Vidikron’s package providing superb video solutions to its dealers.

In choosing the Representative of the Year and Dealer of the Year, Vidikron looks at criteria beyond raw sales volume including account history, line diversity and rate of growth. Dealer of the Year Brad Boshek of Sound Image of Orlando, Inc. in Florida commented: “Working with Vidikron has been a great experience for everyone at Sound Image. Vidikron has been one of those rare companies that quickly gave dealers like us a deep assortment of products at a level of quality we can stand behind. Not only that, the company has taken care of us with a range of support, dealer programs and training initiatives, and that’s always a motivator for us.”
