Morgan Hill, CA (May 18, 2007) — Velodyne Acoustics Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of powered subwoofers for home-theater and consumer audio, today announced the appointment of industry veteran John Miller as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. In this role, Miller will be responsible for broadening Velodyne’s reach into the custom installation and retail markets east of the Mississippi. Based in Pennsylvania, he will also manage Velodyne’s representatives in the Eastern region and provide sales training.

Miller has more than 30 years of marketing, sales and management experience in the audio/video and consumer electronics industries. Most recently he was president at Miller Group Marketing, Inc. Over his career, Miller has held various executive and sales management positions with companies such as Legacy Audio, Inc., Definitive Technology, and Klipsch and Associates, Inc.
