Valor Launches New Brand — Valor Multimedia

City of Industry, Calif, (May 3, 2006) — Valor, a leading manufacturer of mobile electronics, launches Valor Multimedia in the United States. Formerly Valor DVD, Valor Multimedia will focus on a diverse product mix including navigation systems, rear seat entertainment units, and multimedia interfaces. The new brand will offer quality aftermarket multimedia products with enhanced features and capabilities.

In less than four years, Valor DVD established itself as a fierce competitor in the aftermarket DVD & Mobile Video marketplace offering quality products with desirable features. Because of the positive response from both dealers and consumers, the company saw rapid growth and decided to expand its product range, creating Valor Multimedia.

According to Mike Gritchen, vice president, sales and marketing, Valor Multimedia, “We are excited about our new brand and feel it reflects our capabilities and diverse product line. We look forward to our continued growth under our new brand name.”

Although Valor Multimedia is relatively new to the U.S. market, its parent company, Valor is one of Asia’s largest and longstanding manufacturers. All of Valor Multimedia manufacturing is done through its parent company Valor, based in China. Valor’s reputation for quality and reliability are maintained with Valor Multimedia products. While a subsidiary of Valor, Valor Multimedia is a wholly-owned American company based in Southern California.

Headquartered in the City of Industry in Southern California, the company owns and occupies a 160,000 square foot building that includes warehousing, technical, design, marketing and sales. Products Valor Multimedia currently manufactures and distributes include in-dash touch screen multimedia units with integrated Bluetooth, Satellite Radio and iPod interfaces, navigation units, overhead all-in-ones and roof-mounted monitors. Valor recently announced its newest signature product, the iLink, the only multimedia interface that enables consumers to use any iPod player as a portable hard drive to record and watch movies/videos and their favorite music.

As Valor Multimedia continues to grow in the United States and build its product mix, it will maintain its high standards of quality and reliability.
