The 2008 Best Channel Vendor award winners were chosen via a Web-based survey of BSM VAR subscribers. A total of 17,771 votes were cast by 1,064 unique resellers, making this one of the largest and most detailed surveys of its kind. The participating resellers represent an estimated $10.5 billion in annual sales–an average of $6.6 million per reseller. Channel vendors were rated in seven areas: Service/Support, Channel Friendly, Channel Program, Product Reliability, Product Features, Product Innovation and Adequate VAR Margins.
